Do you know Spearmint oil is often referred to as “The Gentler Mint Oil”?
Spearmint gets its name from its spear-shaped leaves. The ancient Greek used it in their bath water as a tonic and scent. It has a slightly fruity scent, softer and its effect are milder than peppermint. It is high in carvone (45-80%) and limonene (10-30%), making it ideal for children, the elderly, and those with sensitive skin.
This uplifting oil boosts your mood, mental clarity and alertness as well as help respiratory issues and cold symptoms. One popular use is for the digestive system, as they stimulate digestion and appetite, alleaviate nausea, ease diarrhoea and help flatulence and gassy tummy.

Shan Recipe
Inhalation
20 drops of Rosemary
30 drops of Tea Tree
30 drops of Spearmint
20 drops of Eucalyptus
Add the oils to a 5 ml amber glass bottle and mix well. Pour hot water into a bowl and 1 drop of the synergy, place your head about 12 inches above the bowl and cover your head with a towel in such a way that the sides are totally closed and you in actual fact form a tent over the bowl. Keep your eyes shut and breathe deeply through your nose for 1 to 2 minutes.
Shampoo
100ml unscented shampoo
5 drops Spearmint
5 drops Rosemary
10 drops Tea Tree.
Tummy blend (Adult)
50ml Apricot kernel oil
4 drops Spearmint
4 drops Ginger
3 drops Lavender
9 drops Sweet Orange
Mix well. Apply a teaspoon over the abdomen and massage.
Tummy blend (Kids)
50ml Apricot kernel oil
2 drops Spearmint
2 drops Lavender
6 drops Sweet Orange
Mix well. Apply a teaspoon over the abdomen and massage.
